The Mystery of Edwin Drood

the victorian music hall comedy drama murder-mystery choose-your-own-adventure musical.

The Sydney University Musical Theatre Ensemble in association with Origin Theatrical Pty Ltd are proud to present MUSE's second major production for 2009, Rupert Holmes's "The Mystery of Edwin Drood".

In the Music Hall Royale of 1873, just west of Leicester Square, a rabble of players, matinee idols, rising stars, and roguish hacks (under the worthy management of Mr William Cartwright) bring you the premiere performance of Mr Charles Dickens' final novel: The Mystery of Edwin Drood. The tragically unfinished masterpiece here rendered as a Musicale with Dramatic Interludes will be concluded and performed according to your own tastes, as determined by wholly objective ballot.

So we warmly invite you to step through the doors of the Cleveland Street Theatre into the welcoming arms of the Music Hall Royale - to join us, as we solve, resolve, and conclude The Mystery of Edwin Drood.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE STARTING TIMES FOR PERFORMANCES HAVE CHANGED. ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY PERFORMANCES WILL COMMENCE AT 7PM, NOT 8PM. FRIDAY'S PERFORMANCE WILL COMMENCE AT 8PM, NOT 8.30PM. WE APOLOGISE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE CAUSED.

ONLINE BOX OFFICE NOW OPEN. Book your tickets now to avoid disappointment!
